Mr. Edwards is a co-founder and brings more than 30 years of diverse experience in Power Generation, Electric Utility, Energy Trading, and Data Systems Management to Triencon Services.
Data Systems Management
Mr. Edwards is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) with extensive development experience with Microsoft and Borland Products. He has additional experience in PI Data Systems and data integration services with PI Data Systems, Oracle, and SQL Server Data Warehouses through web interfaces. He has extensive application development experience in Fossil and Nuclear Generation, Energy Trading, and Transmission and Distribution Applications. He brings small business experience developing custom software solutions for mid-size to large businesses including the Electric Power Research Institute’s National Radioactive Waste Data Management System and the 5th District Federal Court’s Court Personnel Program.
While employed by TXU Energy Trading he was the team lead responsible for the development, testing, and implementation of Competitive Intelligence Systems and Market Information Automation Systems.
Engineering Project Management
Mr. Edwards brings extensive project management experience. As Manager of Nuclear Projects for Nebraska Public Power, Manager of Project Controls for Florida Power and Light and Project Engineering Manager for TXU Electric he was accountable for the prioritization, development, implementation, and testing of design modifications and administration of the site capital improvement budgets of up to 50 million annual.
Over 3 years experience in Facility Outage Management. As part of the Outage Management team responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of refueling outages. Outage execution positions included Outage Duty Manager, Engineering Duty Manager, Maintenance Duty Manager, and Outage Integration Project Manager through 13 Refueling outages.
Radioactive Waste Management
Over 4 years direct experience in Radioactive Waste Management. As Radwaste Supervisor he was responsible for radioactive waste processing and the liquid effluents program for TXU Electric. He reduced waste resin generation, effluent curies, off-site dose, and generation to industry leading levels while reducing costs by 50%. He co-authored paper on Radioactive Waste Benchmarking and was a speaker at international low-level waste conference on Industry Benchmarking and Radioactive Waste Management / Outage Management Optimization.
Power Plant Operations
Mr. Edwards brings over 12 years operating experience. Naval Nuclear Propulsions Systems experience includes certification for operations on S1W, S3G Core 3, S68, and S8G Nuclear Reactor Systems. His commercial operations experience includes Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) at 2 facilities and Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) at 2 facilities.
